Tyler Sterrett of Huron, South Dakota, was recently selected as a 2017 Build Dakota scholarship recipient at Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls, where he will work toward a degree in Land Surveying Science Technology. This full-ride scholarship will cover 100% of his two-year program, including tuition, fees, books, and tools.
Clark Engineering is Sterrett’s corporate sponsor through Southeast Tech Foundation’s Sponsor A Scholar Build Dakota Program. The organizations involved in making this program a reality for Tyler are the Denny Sanford Foundation, Forward Sioux Falls, and Southeast Tech.
Once he finishes his degree in Land Surveying Science Technology, Sterrett will work in one of Clark Engineering’ South Dakota offices for three years. This is a win-win for both Tyler and Clark.
Sterrett is one of 70 recipients of a Build Dakota full-ride scholarship to Southeast Tech. Build Dakota scholarships are also provided for students at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, Mitchell Technical Institute in Mitchell, and Western Dakota Technical Institute in Rapid City.
Congratulations Tyler. We look forward to having you on board!
