Metro Transit Highway 610 and Noble Parkway Park and Ride PV Solar System

This park and ride facility in Brooklyn Park, MN, accommodates 1,000 cars and replaced an existing surface parking lot. In keeping with Metro Transit’s “Go Greener” mission, solar photovoltaic energy is used to offset a portion of the facility’s power use. The PV solar work completed by Clark staff included system design, electrical and structural engineering documents, permitting and application process management, equipment acquisition, installation, commissioning, anti-islanding testing with the utility company, installation of monitoring system, and creation of site-specific user manuals.
