Sun Ray Library

The 600-square-foot Sun Ray Library addition/remodel project involved a new entry tower that better defines the entrance to the library and modifications to the perimeter concrete frame to improve the library layout.

Clark Engineering worked closely with LSE Architects and other project partners to update the existing 1970s library for the changing needs of the users and community. Clark provided surveying, civil engineering, and structural engineering services for the Sun Ray Library Renovation and Remodel.

To meet code requirements of the City of St. Paul and the St. Paul Sustainable Building Policy, as well as overlay requirements, Clark designed the following:

  • Underground chamber system
  • Two bio-filtration basins
  • Two infiltration areas
  • Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP)
