This new library located on Humboldt Avenue has replaced the 34-year old library. The new 8,300 square-foot library is twice as large as the previous one with many new amenities including indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, increased access to technology and collections.
The building consists of roof framing that is metal roof deck on steel joists and is supported by steel beams and columns. The building is inspired by the Victory Memorial Parkway with wood-finish ceilings and Douglas fir structural columns.
Clark teamed up with LSE Architects to create a welcoming and fun atmosphere.
