This new library is located on Humboldt Avenue in Minneapolis, MN and has replaced the previous exisinting 34-year old library. The new 8,300 square-foot library is twice as large as the previous one with many new amenities including indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, and increased access to technology and collections.
The building consists of roof framing with a metal roof deck on steel joists and is supported by steel beams and columns. The building is inspired by the Victory Memorial Parkway with wood-finish ceilings and Douglas fir structural columns.
Clark teamed up with Minneapolis-based LSE Architects to create a welcoming and fun atmosphere.
